B. Guy Peters is Maurice Falk Professor of American Government at the University of Pittsburgh. He has written extensively in the areas of public administration and public policy, both for the United States and comparatively. Among his recent publications are Administrative Traditions: Understanding
the Roots of Contemporary Administrative Behavior (2021) and Democratic Backsliding and Public Administration (2021).

Ian Thynne has taught and researched public governance, policy, administration and management in New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Singapore and Hong Kong. He has served as the co-editor of the Asia Pacific Journal of Public Administration and Public Administration and Development.
