Author Biography

Manuel Lopez Poy is a journalist and author of several books on music including Between Heaven and Hell and Blue Days. He is a contributor to Route 66 Magazine and Fiat Lux, host of Bad Music, director of the Yearbook of Blues, and has written many popular music documentaries. Manuel Ló pez Poy (Sarria, Lugo, 1958) es periodista y escritor. Autor de varios libros de mú sica como Entre el cielo y el infierno. Efemé rides del blues clá sico, Los dí as azules. Ficciones del blues y camino a la libertad. Es colaborador de las revistas Ruta 66 y Fiat Lux, presentador del programa Bad Music, director del Anuario del Blues y guionista de documentales relacionados con la mú sica (Hondarribia Crossroad y Barnablues). Ademá s, es guionista de novela grá fica y realiza conferencias sobre mú sica y gé nero negro. En esta editorial ha publicado Soul y Rhythm & Blues, Rockabilly y una magní fica biografí a sobre Bob Dylan en la colecció n Guí as del rock.
