Author Biography

Peter Jones is Emeritus Professor of Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh.

Martin Fitzpatrick is an independent scholar. He has previously worked as Senior Research Associate at the Department of History and Welsh History, Aberystwyth and has held research fellowships at the Humanities Research Centre of the Australian National University and the Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of Edinburgh. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
