Once understood as useful but optional, case conceptualization is now considered essential and one of the most important of all clinical skills and competencies. Author Biography

Len Sperry, MD, PhD, is Professor and Director of Clinical Training, Mental Health Counseling Department, Florida Atlantic University and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, Medical College of Wisconsin.

Jon Sperry, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida and is also a staff therapist at the Counseling and Psychological Services at Florida Atlantic University. Sperry has co-authored four textbooks on case
conceptualization and has lectured about this topic around the globe. He was President of the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology (NASAP) from 2017-2018; and he is currently the co-editor in chief of the Journal of Individual Psychology (JIP).
