In the latest installment of Niklas Natt Och Dag’s acclaimed trilogy, evil lurks in the winding alleys of Stockholm, as the shady and vengeful Tycho Ceton plans to turn the Swedish capital into an infernal abyss.
Two detectives have been trying to catch the sinister Ceton for more than a year. Although Emil Winge dedicates all his efforts to solve the case, his past haunts him, authorities have more important matters to care for, and his faithful squire, Mickel Cardell, is too busy searching for Anna Stina Knapp, who remains missing after the death of her twins.
Meanwhile, hell inevitably approaches.
