With the increased importance of designing interiors for small spaces, and the public's growing interest in environmentally-friendly decor, three new categories have been added to the 24th APIDA - Best Small Living Space, Best Small Work Space, and Green Space. These categories join those that have already been established: best shopping space, food space, work space, installation & exhibition space, living space, leisure & entertainment space, hotel space, and sample space.
In addition to the prizes (gold, silver, bronze and honourable mention), there is a new section of 'Judge's Choice'. This shares the judges' favorite projects, and explains the superiorities of these cases from the judges' point of view.
