Author Biography

BEVERLY LAWN (Ph.D. SUNY-Stony Brook), professor of English at Adelphi University, has taught introductory fiction courses since 1969. Editor of two previous textbooks, The Short Story: 30 Masterpieces and Literature: 150 Masterpieces, she is the author of Throat of Feathers, a book of poems.
