Author Biography

Sarah Woods is the author of over a dozen travel books, a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a member of the British Guild of Travel Writers. She writes for national newspapers and travel magazines and has criss-crossed the globe several times in every direction. She appears regularly on TV and radio (BBC, ITV, CNN and Al Jazeera) and also spent three years as the holiday expert on The Alan Titchmarsh Show. In the past two decades, she has been awarded the Kenneth Wescott Jones Prize (twice), the PSA Award for Broadcasting and the BGTW ‘Travel Guide Writer of the Year’.
