Author Biography

James Herriot, Ph.D., is a scientist, philosopher, teacher, and writer, with a special love for the mystery of the human creative process. How does it work? Theory. And how can each of us become more creative in our own lives? Practice. His theoretical work began at Stanford University as a computer scientist, and then expanded into complexity science, chaos theory, and cognitive science-"generative" sciences. In the theoretical realm, he gives many keynote talks, has testified before the US Senate, and heads up a company, Herriot Research (www.herriot.com). Exploring the practice of creativity, he focuses on human sexuality, researching human sexual behaviors, studying mythology, guiding doctoral students, teaching Tantra workshops-and writing books on sex. Jim lives in northern California with his wife of 30 years, and their two children. He has lived in the USA and Europe, traveled to over a hundred countries, and converses in five languages. Oona Mourier, Ph.D., is an explorer of the many faces of the Self, a shaman, a wise woman, a visionary, a trickster and an entrepreneur. She has devoted her life to the exploration of the Mystery. Her innovative mind has lead her to create new paradigms in sexuality, as well as in relationships, business and new economic systems that can free people to fulfill their destinies, and enhance social and spiritual values. Oona's career is shared between her work as a sexologist and business owner in the health and fitness industry. Oona is a sexologist in private practice in Sebastopol. She is also the CEO of Sensual Signatures Inc. a business developing and producing sexual products (www.sensualsignatures.com). She has been lecturing nationally and teaching workshops on Sexual Archetypes since 1990. Oona is a Diplomate of the American Board of Sexology and Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Sexology.
