Author Biography

Pete Seeger has been a storyteller for fifty years and has written such songs as "Where Have All the Flowers Gone," "Turn, Turn, Turn," and, with Lee Hays, "If I Had a Hammer." In 1952, he improvised a story for his children about the giant Abiyoyo, using a song from South Africa. Now, with the help of Paul DuBois Jacobs and Michael Hays, Abiyoyo returns! Pete still lives with his wife, Toshi, near Beacon, New York.
