Author Biography

Fred Barter is well-known within the marine market. He is Editor of Cruising Magazine for the Cruising Association and the Junk Rig Association Journal. He has published several books on yachting including the Skipper's Guide series for Adlard Coles Nautical. He has been sailing for over 25 years and owns two boats one of which is Junk rigged. He is also a Vice President of the Cruising Association.
