Author Biography


Rebecca J. Compton is professor of psychology at Haverford College, where she has taught since 1999. She received her BA from Vassar College and her PhD in biological psychology from University of Chicago. Her previous research focused on executive function, attention, and emotion regulation in the human brain, and she has co-authored Cognitive Neuroscience, 3rd Edition (2011).
