Author Biography

Jeff Handmaker is a lecturer in development, human rights and governance at the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague and sessional lecturer in refugee law at the School of Law, University of the Witwatersrand.

Lee Anne de la Hunt is a senior government legal advisor and associate professor at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Jonathan Klaaren is Professor of Law at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
