Author Biography


Dr Ronald J. Burke is Professor of Organizational Behaviour in the School of Business, York University, Toronto. The author of many books, he was founding editor of the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences, and serves on the editorial board of several other journals. He previously held the Imperial Life Professorship in Organizational Behaviour and was a Senior Research Fellow at the National Centre for Management Research and Development.

Dr Debra Nelson is Professor of Management at Oklahoma State University. She is author of a number of books and journals, including Organizational Behavior: Foundations, Realities and Challenges (1997); Stress and Challenge at the Top: The Paradox of the Successful Executive; and Preventive Stress Management in Organizations (1997). She is a Fellow of the Academy of Management and the American Psychological Association.
