Author Biography

Arthur M. Cohen is professor emeritus of higher education and organizational change at UCLA, editor-in-chief of the journal New Directions for Community Colleges, and the author of several books on community colleges.

Florence B. Brawer has been research director of the Center for the Study of Community Colleges and associate editor of the journal New Directions for Community Colleges.
