Summary

American Shaman tells the story of Bradford Keeney, an esteemed scientist and psychologist, who abandoned academia to study with the most powerful shamans, witchdoctors, medicine men, and healers in the world. In this journey two of the most respected professionals in counseling and psychotherapy, Jeffrey Kottler and Jon Carlson, follow Brad Keeney through the world of spiritual healers and "doctors" of the oldest cultures on Earth.
