Summary

We all want healthy, compassionate, loving relationships-but too often, something seems to get in the way. Instead of finding the deep connections we long for with family and friends, we end up frustrated and disappointed-with others and with ourselves. Now, in Anatomy of the Soul, psychiatrist Curt Thompson draws upon the latest neurological discoveries to prove that spiritual practices can actually alter our brain patterns-improving our relationships and literally making us more like the people God intends us to be. By weaving together these new findings about the brain with Scripture, spiritual disciplines, and real-life personal stories, Anatomy of the Soulis a guide to transforming your mind, heart, and relationships.
