Julio Antonio Blasco is an illustrator, painter, and designer who has previously published three other books for children.

Mark Doran is a consultant neurologist with 30 years experience. He is a former senior lecturer in Neurology at the University of Liverpool and Cambridge University.

Angie Trius is a doctor in veterinary medicine specializing in food science and technology. She has worked in the area of food ingredients in the USA and Europe for more than 20 years.
