Author Biography

Patricia Lovett is a professional calligrapher and illuminator and works from her studio at Kent. She has written a number of books on calligraphy and illumination, and teaches and lectures all over the world. She was awarded the MBE for services to heritage crafts and calligraphy, and is vice-chair of the Heritage Crafts Association, Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and patron of the Lettering and Commemorative Arts Trust.
