Author Biography

Lawrence M. Krauss's blockbuster bestseller, The Physics of Star Trek, has been translated into fourteen languages. Krauss is the Ambrose Swasey Professor of Physics, Professor of Astronomy, and Chair of the Physics Department at Case Western Reserve University. He is the only scientist to have been awarded the American Association for the Advancement of Science's Award for Public Understanding of Science (2000), the American Physical Society's Julius Edgar Lilienfeld Prize (2001) for outstanding contributions to physics and to the public understanding of science, and the American Institute of Physics' Andrew Gemant Award (2001) for connecting physics and culture
