MICHELLE HALL KELLS, a Ph.D. candidate in discourse studies at Texas AM University, applies teaching experience and research to examine the issues facing teachers of increasingly diverse and educationally underserved students in college writing programs. Kellss areas of research include language attitudes and codeswitching practices of Mexican-American bilingual college students.
