Author Biography

Stephen Lockwood grew up in Huddersfield and, living near to a trolleybus terminus, he soon became fascinated by these vehicles.  This led to a lifetime's interest in the subject.  On leaving grammar school in 1967, he joined Bradford City Transport, which was still then operating trolleybuses.  Stephen is a member of the British Trolleybus Society, the National Trolleybus Association and  a committee member for the Omnibus Society’s Northern branch.
