Babe's life and career are given a fresh look in The Babe Book, which tells his story through this unique collection of engaging anecdotes from the people who knew him and studied him--ballplayers, teammates, managers, sportswriters, radio announcers, historians, family, and friends. Accompanyingthis unique group of memories and amazing statistics is a special selection of nearly one hundred photographs of memorabilia from the exclusive archives of The Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum in Baltimore, Maryland. Babe Ruth's daughter Julia Ruth Stevens adds a personal note in the book's foreword.
