Author Biography

Clever Publishing was founded in 2010 with the purpose of changing children's lives for the better. She is also the winner of various literary awards. She says, “If you squint at a lantern, it will turn into a lion with a red mane. I like to see the world through the eyes of a child--to find something new in the familiar, to notice the beauty in what surrounds."

Ekaterina Dmitrieva is a talented concept artist and illustrator based in Moscow. She has worked in children's illustration since 2013 and animation since 2016. Ekaterina studied at the Moscow State University of Printing Arts, where several of her works were featured in the university’s exhibition catalog for 2003-2013. She collaborates with numerous publishing houses as an illustrator and with Chinese and Indian studios as a concept artist.

Svetlana Zhukova is an award-winning illustrator and graduate of Moscow State University of Printing Arts, where she earned her degree with honors. Her work has appeared in children's magazines and projects for design studios. Svetlana is known for her captivating illustrations and eye-catching book covers.
