Excerpts

Barbecue's Preview.
Couple of years before fourteen year old Paradise was brutally murdered in a shady circumstance best known to her dad, Mumuna and her stepmother, Gerraf, she did make a prediction her name would be heard in the whole world. That prediction up until now seemed as good as dead with her on the Friday she was mercilessly shattered by the deadly bullets of her assassins. She was shot on the forehead, chest, lower abdomen and both legs. Her stepmother made sure she never received any medical attention until she bled to death almost five hours after the traumatic pains she went through. Sixteen bullets which ironically coincided with the day she was felled down in the presence of her dad, stepmother, stepbrother, stepsister, and other step relatives were extracted from her lifeless body.
Though, this heinous deed was perpetrated before this family, yet both man, his wife, their families and friends absolutely stepped down on any investigation whatever into the gruesome murder of this "rising star". Every effort made by Glory, the mother of the slain child to get the authorities to look into it was always met by a brick-wall. These brick-walls included money, power and culture; powerful tools against Glory.
These "eye-witnesses" used their bags of money to erase the report of the assassination of late Paradise from the Nara Police Records, Homicide, Public Persecution and all other such agencies. They also stopped the Naran Television Authority's Sunday Night News Line anchored by the "Tube Honorable" lady Aby Dabs from airing this fatal death of a fourteen year old girl in the hands of her assassins. They stopped Newspapers from carrying this incident.
In addition to money, power was employed by these people to permanently silence the voice of anyone, Glory and her family of course, who made any attempt at asking "who killed Paradise?" Just as the slain fourteen year old was still lying at the morgue, this powerful group had arranged to swoop on Glory and her family while they mourned to clamp them in jail. Why, because Glory and her family had asked for clarity of how it was by happenstance only this child not born of Gerraf that was the victim of the so called "armed robbery operation" according to them. The "armed robbery" that did not tamper with valuables ranging from choice cars, to many adults in the house but, just concentrated on slaughtering the youngest child of the family was not acceptable by the mother of the slain girl.
Glory and her family were divinely saved from rotting in jail by the intervention of Sams Ohaby, Nadi Udy and a couple of other men of integrity who spoke the truth when all others were being sycophants.
The culture supported Mumuna and his accomplices to get away with this deadly crime. It says that the man has dominion over his family. He can do whatever he chooses to do with his family and he would be upheld. And so when fourteen year Paradise was murdered in cold blood it was very alright for Mumuna to "keep it quiet" with the attitude of "after all she was only a child." He could peddle any fictitious story to distort any proper investigation and be applauded. And of course he chose to peddle "the assassinated child jumped from her coverage from the armed robbers (her would be assassins), to shield him from their attacks. He went on to claim that it was at this point that late Paradise met her tragic death – they shot her at the forehead, chest, lower abdomen and both legs just at that instant.."
Mumuna in his bid to "reciprocate" the costly sacrifice of the assassinated fourteen year old Paradise, hurriedly cleared everything about the presence of the child that loved him so much that she laid down her life for him and his family. He gathered the slain girl's belongings, stuffed them in a plastic bag, drove all the way from his place (the slaughter ground of the girl) to Glory's – a journey of about 28km and flung it over the gate and sped off. This was just four days after he had buried her in an unknown grave to the mother, brother and sister of the slain girl. He had moved back to his place and lives happily ever after with his wife, Gerraf and her family. They have closed the chapter of the young girl's life.
This stood for years until Glory who had lost another daughter previously through food poisoning intentionally fed her by her stepmother, Gerraf fled the country. And today, Glory is giving God all praise and adoration for now Paradise's name would be heard all over the world according to her early prediction. In this book Barbecue, the story of the life, death and the last words of this star-child are recounted. The graphic details of trials and tribulations of Glory from when she was in the womb to present are also recounted in this book.
The book, Barbecue: hard thing becoming soft is a divine name given to Glory after God delivered her from failures to testify to His goodness and mercy on whoever puts his or her trust in Him. The book is packed with all the gory tribulations Glory, a person, a woman, a mother, a wife, a divorcee, a sister, a friend, a patient, a Christian like you has experienced first- hand and by the grace of God is still standing firmly. For example, she suffered severe domestic violence, lost two beautiful daughters to violent deaths, lost a lung mysteriously, wavered in her faith, lost home, court cases, money, business opportunities, diversity visa lottery ticket, and numerous other losses. These are all hard things which became soft when God Almighty arose and took charge. He turned them to soft things by merely changing Glory's name from "failures" to "Success".
Glory is using this memoir to encourage you to look unto God rather than the planes and valleys of life. She assures you that the same God, Who delivered her from her many plights of life will surely deliver you from whatever poses itself as an insurmountable mountain today if only you would sincerely let Him fight the battles for you. And like Job prayed for his friends after all he went through, Glory prays for you in this book, Barbecue that all your failures be turned to success in JESUS name.
Be richly blessed by the testimonies in this book and be delivered from rejection, hatred, slavery, fraudsters, sickness, agony, unrealized dreams, power of the devourer, demonic powers, household enemies, and all the things that make you a failure. And do not forget to bless someone with the gift of a copy to him or her.
