Behind the Shrouded Curtain To Paradise follows the story of Damian, a high-ticket gigolo who makes an incredible amount of money catering to the sexual needs of the rich and affluent women of Los Angeles, keeping in mind that the women who seek out his services all have their own story to tell. Calculated, rather than desperate, would be the one common thread that all of the women paying for his services share in common.
Sex aside, the story interacts with the readers to make the readers feel like they are riding shotgun with Damian in his convertible Maserati, in real time, as he traverses the streets and highways of the greater Los Angeles area. Great detail is given to streets, areas, landmarks, and a historical perspective of all reference to such, in order to give readers the opportunity to enjoy the story from inside the circle as a participant, and not from outside the circle as an observer. It could also serve as a travel guide if one were to travel to Los Angeles and experience Paradise for oneself, firsthand.
This approach to story makes the book appeal to both women and men, either independent of one another or as a couple. But it does come with a warning to men - If your significant other reads this, you're going to have to up your game!
