Summary

The Best Dog is the story of 2 neighbors, and friends, that both have dogs. Sophie, the neighbor's dog is a pure bred dog and has won ribbons in shows. Chance was adopted from a shelter and is also a great dog with great gifts and instincts. The story revolves around the everyday life of Chance and Sophie, and their families. Sophie winds up getting into a dangerous situation just by following the path of a balloon. Chance, with his keen instincts, sees the trouble that Sophie has gotten into and is able to alert his family and save Sophie from a dangerous encounter.

Author Biography

Sandy Dipierro has worked in a library for over 20 years. She lives in New Jersey with her husband, two daughters, and their pets. She loves dogs and cats and has adopted many pets from the Shelters and Rescue groups. This is her second children's book.
