Author Biography

Kathryn Hopper is the author of Fort Worth: Where the Best Begins as well as Family Fun Travel Southwest, which includes Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Her travel stories have been published in a variety of local and national publications including The Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Dallas Morning News as well as national titles such as Family Fun magazine.

She is an avid hiker who has conquered the Appalachian Trail and is very familiar with day hikes in the Dallas/Fort Worth region, particularly those that are child and dog friendly.
