Nick Ortner is known worldwide as an inspirational speaker and the New York Times best-selling author of The Tapping Solution. His "muse"—his daughter, June—isn’t old enough to read yet but stares at Barkley and all his adventures with delight. Nick lives with his wife, Brenna, in Newtown, CT.Alison Taylor is an elementary school teacher who enjoys reading and writing with her students. Her desk is often crowded with buckets of apples. She lives in forest-filled Connecticut where her ideas for Barkley sprouted. She’s also Brenna’s younger sister, Nick’s sister-in-law, and tied in 1st place for June’s favorite aunt.
