Summary

The birthing of a Glorious churchHave you ever asked yourself why you were you born and what your purpose on earth is? Most of the time, Christians live a religious life rather than the one that God has destined for them. God is sending out a message that we must all first recognize our role as priests in His kingdom by declaring and revealing who He is when we walk in what He has destined and purposed for our lives. This will give us a real indication of our identity in His kingdom. This book explains why the CHURCH of JESUS CHRIST must refocus on His coming. These days the trend of events stated in Mathew chapter 24 and the headline news are so obvious that we must be on our watch for His coming This book is to prepare the believers in expectation of the second coming of Jesus Christ for His true saints. It is also to prepare the church as a whole body as Christ's bride, by washing the spots and wrinkles off her wedding gown to become the glorious bride that Jesus has destined her to be. Her glory will be the light to the world to draw many to Christ from this world of sin. This book has been described as a Christian's manual of faith for righteous living. As an end time messenger of God, Yinka writes with urgency and of necessity for the church of Jesus Christ to prepare for His coming and live in expectancy that He can come anytime soon. She also interprets God's Word with a divine revelation gifted to her by the Holy Spirit. She urges non-believers and those who are searching for the true way to the Supreme God of the universe to receive Jesus the only begotten Son of God as the truth, the life and only way to the Father. Finally, this book expresses God's love and compassion for those who have lost hope in this life and to those who have backslidden into the world. Jesus is calling out to you. This is a last call!It ends with a question: If Jesus comes back today are you ready to go with Him?

Excerpts

WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO SPEND ETERNITY?In the second part of this book we explained how a biblical marriage took place in the olden days and we divided it into three parts.1. Choosing of the bride and payment of the bride price (dowry)2. The Betrothal period (part 1 & 2)3. The final UnionWe also explained how the father chose a wife for his son and how it was customary for the son to pay a price for his bride. This is called the dowry. Then the couple are separated for a period of one year, which is known as the betrothal period. We have already discussed the bride's role during this period, which is to be faithful and wait in expectancy for her bridegroom. Now we are going to discuss the role of the bridegroom during this period. THE BETROTHAL PERIOD PART 2The final union is when the bridegroom finally comes to take his bride to live with him forever. Before this could take place he needs to go and prepare a place for her in his father's house. We are going to use the above to explain the analogy of Jesus the bridegroom of the church as His bride whom He has gone to prepare a place for and will eventually come back to take her to live with Him in His Father's house forever.Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us and He will come again to take us where He is. This was also part of His prayer to His Father on behalf of all believers asking Him to let us be where He is so we can all see His Glory, (John 17:24). Jesus is coming to take all those who have believed in Him and have truly prepared themselves and waited in expectation for His coming. This is what the Bible refers to as the second Coming of Jesus Christ our Lord for his saints both dead and alive.Hebrews 9:26-2826 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. John 14:1-31"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me.2 "In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you.3 "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 17:24Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which you have given Me; for you loved Me before the foundation of the world.1 Thessalonians 4:15-1815 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. The PassoverWe also learned that the betrothal period began with a feast and the bridegroom presented the bride with gifts. This is the same way that Jesus has given His bride the Church a variety of gifts as we explained earlier. The night before Jesus was crucified He had the Passover together with His disciples, which we know as the feast of Unleavened Bread. It is also known as the love feast. The Passover originally began in the Old Testament. Its first practise was in Egypt when the people of Israel were slaves and God was about to set them free from bondage in Egypt. God commanded the children of Israel to kill a lamb and smear the blood of the lamb on their doorposts as a signal to God that He should "pass over" their houses when He was about to destroy all the first born of Egypt. It was the blood on the doorposts of the Israelites that saved them from death. This became an annual practise reminding the people how God "passed over" them in the time of death in the land of Egypt.Even till today it is an annual gathering in Jerusalem to observe the Passover and remind the people of God's love that saved them from destruction. Mathew 26:17-1817 Now on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus saying to Him. "Where do you want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover? 18 And He said, "Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, The Teacher says, "My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples." Exodus 12:13`Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.
