Author Biography


Paul Fiddes, Professor of Systematic Theology, University of Oxford and Senior Research Fellow, Regent's Park College, Oxford

Paul S. Fiddes is Professor of Systematic Theology in the University of Oxford (2002), Senior Research Fellow of Regent's Park College, Oxford, and Honorary Fellow of St. Peter's College, Oxford. He took first-class degrees in English (1968) and Theology (1970) in the University of Oxford,
gained a DPhil in Theology from Oxford (1975) and was awarded a DD from Oxford (2004). He was Fellow in Christian Doctrine at Regent's Park College Oxford (1975-1989) and Principal of the College 1989-2007. He is Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Bucharest, and a Fellow of the British
Academy (2020).
