Author Biography

Philip Athans was born in Rochester, New York, but grew up in suburban Chicago. He started writing stories and creating illustrated "books" just about the minute he became literate. Now senior editor for the Wizards of the Coast Book Publishing Team, Phil is the Forgotten Realms line editor and works with such fantasy legends as R.A. Salvatore and Ed Greenwood. Phil is also the author of the Forgotten Realms novel, Baldur's Gate, published by Wizards of the Coast in 1999.
