Tracy Kane majored in illustration at Philadelphia College of Art. She also studied in London, England where she met her husband, Barry. After working as a commercial artist for Public Television she started writing and illustrating ôThe Fairy Houses SeriesÖö of books and video. She gives many fairy houses workshops at schools, libraries, nature centers, and other venues related to the ôNo Child Left Insideö initiative. Her community inspirations include a Fairy Houses Ballet, Fairy Houses û The Musical, plus several annual ôFairy Houses Toursö throughout New England generating funds for local non-profit organizations and schools.Barry Kane attended the University of Westminster. He is a computer consultant and has enjoyed photography for many years. His involvement in Tracy's publications and events led to many photos of amazing fairy houses. The publication of the photographic books in the series was a natural, as are his talents.
