Author Biography

Gillian Slovo has written nine novels, including Ice Road, which was shortlisted for the Orange Prize, and Red Dust, which was made into a film starring Hilary Swank and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Her first play, Guantanamo, was an off-Broadway hit.
