Author Biography

Kayla is a first-time author, blogger, and former Pre-K teacher. She was born and raised in Virginia where she currently resides. She holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Elementary Education from Old Dominion University. Kayla employs digital media platforms to showcase her work as a photographer and broadly address themes of travel, black womanhood, loss, love and more.
