Summary

This two volume pack consisting of a Blackstone's Police Investigator's Manual 2005 and the Blackstone's Police Investigator's Distance Learning Workbook 2005 is essential material for the Initial Crime Investigators' Development Programme (ICIDP). Based on the bestselling Blackstone's PoliceManuals, it draws on material from three of the current Manuals (Crime, Evidence and Procedure, and General Police Duties), consisting of those sections that the National Crime and Operations Faculty has identified as essential material for the ICIDP. These are: Property Offences; Assaults, Drugs,Firearms and Defences; Sexual Offences and Offences Against Children and Other Vulnerable Persons; and Evidence. Now in it's third edition, this popular set is fully updated with particular reference to the Sexual Offences Act 2003, the Criminal Justice Act 2003 and the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003.
