Author Biography

Jerry D. Greer is a managing partner of Mountain Trail Press. His work has been published in advertising campaigns for Backpacker magazine, BlueRidge Country, L. L. Bean, the Lyndhurst Foundation, Mountain Bike magazine, Royal Robbins, and WildSouth. He is the author of Blue Ridge Mountains, Blue Ridge Parkway Wonder and Light, and North Carolina Wonder and Light and the photographer of the Blue Ridge Mountains 2010 Scenic Wall Calendar. He lives in Johnson City, Tennessee. Richard A. Bernabe is a managing partner of Mountain Trail Press and editor in chief of Nature Photographers Online Magazine. His work has appeared in marketing campaigns for Canon, Orvis, and Patagonia. He is the author of South Carolina Wonder and Light and coauthor of 50 Amazing Things You Must See & Do in the Smoky Mountains. He lives in Greer, South Carolina. Charles W. Maynard was the first Executive Director of the Friends of the Smoky Mountains National Park and later served as the Director of Advancement for the International Storytelling Center. Charles has traveled extensively with his wife, Janice, and their two daughters, Caroline and Anna.
