Bishop Alphonso Scott received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana while in the Air Force. Bishop A. Scott, hungry for the Word of God, earned a Master of Theology degree from the International Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida and then culminated his pursuit with a Doctorate of Ministry degree with a pastoral emphasis in 1983.
