Summary

Due to growing pressures from health service managers and insurance companies, brief therapy is fast becoming the largest body of analytic treatment provided. This timely book demonstrates how to conduct brief therapy periods effectively through a careful blending of group counseling and individual counseling. The authors show how to build a model of the client's problems for use in group contexts. Blended interventions are shown in action in treating post-traumatic stress disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, depression, and panic disorder.
