Author Biography

James Swallow has been a professional writer since 1988; the author of several novels and scripts, he is the only British writer to have worked on a Star Trek television series, and he has written extensively in many areas, including science fiction, film, television, Far East media, gaming and aviation. Born just before the Apollo 11 moon landing, James grew up in the city of London, which he still calls his home today. At an early age, he developed an affinity for science and reading that grew into a lifelong passion for science fiction. As a journalist, consultant and editor, his work has appeared in more than fifty different magazines in eight languages around the world. James also makes regular appearances on national radio, the Internet and television, and at international conventions and writer's workshops. He is currently at work on a number of fiction and non-fiction projects.
