Patrick Twomey was born in Vancouver and grew up in western Canada. With degrees in History and Latin American Studies, he speaks French, Spanish and English and has studied, travelled and worked across Europe and Canada. Patrick has been guiding tours for ten years, covering over 25 countries, and has led many trips throughout Canada. In addition to another guide book, Patrick has developed a tourism training manual for the Chilean Park service. He is currently working on two other writing projects.
