Author Biography

Christine lives in Amherstburg, Ontario. She draws on a life-long love of books and nature to artfully weave tales that are well-loved and revisited. As a mother of five, grand-mother of nine, great-grandmother of one and retired elementary school teacher, she draws on her experiences to spin tall tales and life lessons into adventures. Animals with their silly antics, interesting habits and funny personalities are showcased in the "Woodland Adventure" series.Glen Hawkes is the talented kids book author and illustrator of, "The Weirdest Alphabet Book", "Emily and the Purple Flower", "Gavin Finds a Dinosaur", and "Simon Hates Bedtime", along with his ongoing comic series, "The Misadventures of the Bowling Ball". He currently resides in Windsor, Ontario, with his wife and three boys. He spends most of his days illustrating, writing or adventuring with his sons Gavin, Simon and Frank.
