Author Biography

Antonio Giordano, M.D., Ph. D., is professor of biology and medical research at Temple University College of Science and Technology in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1993 he co-founded the Sbarro Institute for Cancer Research and Molecular Medicine. He has been honored as Knight by the president of Italy and is recipient of the National Italian-American Political Action Committee (NIA-PAC) National Lifetime Achievement Award in Medical Research.

Marcella Macaluso, Ph.D., is associate professor of biology and a researcher in the Hormone-Signaling and Cancer Program of the Sbarro Institute for Cancer Research at Temple University in Philadelphia.
