Author Biography

Evan Hunter's first novel, The Blackboard Jungle (1954), was an instant bestseller. He wrote the screenplay for Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds, and a film based on his 1994 bestseller, Criminal Conversation, will begin production at Paramount this year.
