Author Biography

M. Christine Zink, DVM, PhD, DACVP, brings significant breadth of writing experience to the proposed text. She is a professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and an experienced scientific writer with over 100 publications in scientific journals on the subject of HIV pathogenesis. For over 15 years, she has presented seminars on Rehabilitation of the Canine Athlete throughout the United States and Canada as well as in Japan, Australia and South Africa. She also has published three books on canine sports and canine sports medicine, The Agility Advantage (2006), Peak Performance: Coaching the Canine Athlete (1997), Jumping From A to Z (1996), as well as a general health trade book, Dog Health and Nutrition for Dummies, Wiley, 2001.
