Author Biography

Robert Finch teaches creative writing at Spalding University, is the host of the radio program A Cape Cod Notebook, and the winner of the Edward R. Murrow award for excellence in radio writing. He is editor of Nature Writing: The Tradition in English and A Place Apart: A Cape Cod Reader and the author of several books, including Common Ground: A Naturalist’s Cape Cod, Death of a Hornet and Other Cape Cod Essays, Outlands: Journeys to the Outer Edges of Cape Cod, The Primal Place, and Special Places on Cape Cod and the Islands. He lives in Wellfleet, Massachusetts.
