Author Biography


Brian Thompson is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Liverpool Law School, University of Liverpool. He is a member of the advisory body for The Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council.

Michael Allen is Commissioner of the Criminal Cases Review Commission and was formerly a Professor of Law at Newcastle Law School, University of Newcastle. He is the author of a number of leading legal books, including Textbook on Criminal Law, also published by OUP.
