Author Biography

Aaron Woland, Principal Engineer in Cisco’s Advanced Threat Security & Integrations Group, works with Cisco’s largest customers. His primary job responsibilities include security design, solution enhancements, standards development, advanced threat solution design, endpoint security, and futures. He joined Cisco in 2005 and now serves on multiple security advisory boards and standards working groups. He is author of Volumes I & II of the Cisco Press CCIE-Security guide; both editions of Cisco ISE for BYOD and Secure Unified Access; All-in-one Cisco ASA Firepower Services, NGIPS and AMP; CCNP Security SISAS 300-208 Official Cert Guide; the CCNA Security 210-260 Complete Video Course, and many white papers and design guides. His certifications also include GHIC, GCFE, GSEC, Certified Ethical Hacker, MCSE, VCP, CCSP, CCNP, and CCD.

Katherine McNamara is a Cybersecurity Technical Solutions Architect at Cisco who works with large enterprise customers throughout California.
