Author Biography

Cecily Brown was born in London in 1969. Her work has been exhibited at P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center; the Whitney Museum of American Art; and the Hirschhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, among other institutions. Dore Ashton is currently professor of art history at the Cooper Union in New York. Lari Pittman is a Los Angeles-based painter. His works have been exhibited nationally and internationally.
