Every year an NHL team is crowned “champion” and awarded the Stanley Cup. Sometimes that honor punctuates an extraordinary year and is an isolated event in the club's history. But sometimes it means much more; the transformation of a team into a dynasty. It is the tribute given to a team that has managed to rise to the top again and again. Featured dynasties include: Detroit Red Wings, Philadelphia Flyers, Boston Bruins, New York Islanders, Montreal Canadiens, Edmonton Oilers, Ottawa Senators, and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
